Ensure that all seed is properly handled and tested so that accurate seed quality results will be completed within assigned timelines
Develop a working understanding and aptitude for all lab functions to be able to fill in for colleagues when necessary Participate in continuous improvement in laboratory operations

Assist with quality documentation of tests conducted Other responsibilities as assigned
Lead new variety/crop development trials from concept to full launch which includes, but not limited to, resources selecting seeds approving suppliers selecting equipment and developing operational procedures.
Collaborate and lead cross functional team to reach crop objectives includes but not limited to marketing, finance etc. Able to handle multiple crops and priorities, and work independently.
Maintain good working relationship and coordination with farm team, marketing team and R&D and being nice with all the members of GGAS with a view to ensuring proper implementation of procedures for new varieties consistent with the company’s short and long terms R&D objectives.
Applies basic agricultural (technical) knowledge in crop behavior and process technology to develop new or improve existing varieties.
Monitor and follow up performance of new and existing trials and quality, anticipates and analyzes causes affecting performance, and provide recommendation to Management and VDM to improve its performance.
